The rich filter gadgets can be imported and used in Confluence to pull and display real-time data from Jira. The controller gadget will behave just like in Jira – by selecting any of the quick filters, the other gadgets will refresh to reflect the filtering.
This is particularly useful in order to provide efficient reporting and business intelligence for the management. Confluence allows you to add text content which can be mixed-up with metrics, statistics, charts and issue views from Jira. This allows you to provide a real-time view of your status/progress.
