This documentation relates to version 1.18 of Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards. Documentation for previous versions is available via the documentation index.

Rich Filters App Configuration

Only the Jira administrators have access to the configuration page of the app. The app configuration page is accessible from Jira’s Add-ons administration menu, under the Rich Filters section.

If the Keyboard Shortcuts feature is enabled on your Jira instance, you can also use the “gg” shortcut, type “Rich Filters” and select the App configuration option.

The plug-in configuration page allows the Jira administrators to configure four settings:

  • Filter Creators: this is the group of users who can create Rich Filters. By default, this is set to Anyone
  • Max Clauses: the maximum number of smart clauses allowed for a smart filter. The default value is 10. (This setting exists as a safety precaution, because some uses of smart filters, particularly in 2D statistics gadgets, can be potentially resource-intensive for the server.)
  • Labs features: the administrators can enable/disable experimental app features. Click here to know more about labs features.
  • Deprecated features: the administrators can enable/disable deprecated app features. Click here to know more about deprecated features.
