Rich Filters::PDF Reports for Jira is an extension of the Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards app. If you are not already familiar with the rich filters, you should first have a look at the Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards documentation.
This page describes the functionality provided by the the Rich Filters::PDF Reports for Jira app. The app enhances the rich filter gadgets by adding export to PDF reporting functionality. The users can export to PDF:
- any individual rich filter gadget (see How to Export Gadgets)
- entire dashboards containing rich filter gadgets (see How to Export Dashboards)
When exporting both individual rich filter gadgets or entire dashboards containing rich filter gadgets, the list of issues that are included in the export can be easily refined using the quick filters provided by the Rich Filter Controller gadgets.
By combining the features provided by Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards and Rich Filters::PDF Reports for Jira app together, users can:
- Export dynamic lists of issues
- Export statistics
- Export counters and gauges
- Export time charts
- Export entire Jira Dashboards based on rich filters
The values displayed in the rich filter gadget and exported to PDF can be based on issues, numeric fields (e.g. Story Points), time tracking metrics, worklogs, Service Desk SLA metrics, resolution time and more.

1. Export dynamic lists of issues
The Rich Filter Results gadgets allow users to display lists of issues in a table format. The list of issues included in the export can be dynamically refined using the the quick filters provided by Rich Filter Controller gadgets.

2. Export statistics
The Rich Filter Statistics, Rich Filter Two Dimensional Statistics and The Rich Filter Pie Chart gadgets allow users to build powerful Jira statistics.

3. Export counters and gauges
The Rich Filter Simple Counter, Rich Filter Smart Counters, Rich Filter Simple Gauge and Rich Filter Smart Gauges gadgets allow users to display powerful metrics through custom counters and gauges.

4. Export time charts
The Rich Filter Created vs. Resolved Chart, Rich Filter Date Bar Chart and Rich Filter Time Series Chart gadgets allow users to display powerful charts based on time.

5. Export entire Jira Dashboards based on rich filters
All the rich filter gadgets can be combined in dynamic Jira Dashboards to display meaningful statistics, charts, graphs & metrics. Users can export to PDF entire dashboards and chose to also display meta information about the export.
